Week 4 Reflection Questions

We've had a busy week 4 here in Room 15. I've included some photos of our week.

Highlights for me were the Strike Performance, Nikita's wonderful muffins that she made the class for her home learning, learning our first words of Korean, having some Zumba fun in our class on Wednesday and your videos of the school norms.

Your enlargements are starting to look spectacular and I'm hoping to hang some of our Pouakais up on our wall over the weekend.

I was also impressed by the students who decided to take initiative with their Basic Facts by asking for the next level's sheets to help them pass the next test.

How has week 4 gone for you? Please leave a comment using our Quality Commenting Checklist.
  • Have you had some learning WINS?
  • Did you have any First Attempts In Learning? What will change next week?
  • What did you find tricky this week?
  • What are you looking to improve on your learning for next week?
Looking forward to week 5. Can you believe we are already half way through our term?

Stephanie

  2. Hi room 15,
My leaning wins this week, is my new understanding, of complicate words.

My learning intentions for next week, is to learn more words, and use them in sentences.

What I found tricky this week, is to use the word mantra, in a sentence.

I'm looking to improve, my learning of punctutions, and grammar.

    1. Hi Stephen
I like that you talked about your wins and your next learning steps. You are right using mantra is a sentence is quite tricky. Perhaps any student who uses the word mantra in a sentence might win some bonus points for the table.

      What do you think?

  3. Hello room 15,

My learning wins for this week would probably be the whacky words of the week and how I comprehended the words from unfamiliar sites.

My learning intentions for next week is to put unfamiliar words into quality sentences.

The hardest part that I had to go through this week was the fitness circuit in P.E.

    1. Hi Nikki,

I think that understanding unfamiliar words can be tricky but they will help you develop as a writer.

Great to see you identify the hardest part of the week as well. What made fitness so difficult?

  5. Hi Room 15!

My highlights for the week were the Strike performance, Nikita's awesome muffins, and, of course, the end of the week.
So much has been going on. How do us kids deal with it? I guess we'll never know but if you have an answer, please, share it with me!

I'm glad you had fun doing Zumba on Friday. We'll need to find some more routines to try out. I think there are a few students in Room 15 gutted about nucomeball. Perhaps we need a strategy session. What do you think?
