Welcome to Room 15

This term Room 15 is taking part in Quadblogging. We would like to welcome students from Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School and Shireland Collegiate Academy from the UK to our blog. Here's our welcome back to school video to give you an idea about our class and what we like to get up to at school.

We are looking forward to visiting your class blogs as part of the class journey.

In the mean time, perhaps you could leave a comment letting us know where in the UK you are from and some questions about New Zealand for Room 15's students to answer.

  1. Hello,

What a fantastic video! I'm a teacher from the UK and I'm having a sneak peak at your blog!

How did you decide what went into your video? What organisation went into the process of creating a video like that?

I've read your quality commenting checklist so I do hope this comment meets your approval!

    Best wishes,

    1. Hi Sarah
I made this movie at the beginning of the year to welcome our new Year 7s into our class. Because students at Tawa Intermediate stay with their teacher for two years, I decided to show highlights of our 2012 featuring students who would be staying in.

It was pretty easy to organize the movie as we make a lot of videos in Room 15.

Perhaps some of my students will fill you in on the highlights to the video.

Do you have intermediate schools in the UK? Intermediate schools are special schools that only have Year 7/8 students. Students start when they are 10 or 11 and finish at 12 or 13.
