Should Dance replace powerpoint?

This week Huia has been busy on practicing our moves for production. Dance is a really powerful form of communication. Have a look at this video. What do you notice? How do you think the video relates to creativity? Do you think dance should replace powerpoint?

  1. Hi
I noticed that when he was explaining a theory the dancers did make more understandable. The way they move relate to what he is explaining. I think that it is a wonderful idea but putting in to action well the would be interesting. Its all well thinking of how great it would be but I don't think it will happen.

  3. Hi Stephanie
I think that was a very interesting video and it has a good concept. I think it relates to creativity because it was full of dance explaining what the man was talking about.
I do think dance should replace powerpoint because powerpoints can be very boring, but dance can be beautiful and explanatory.

  4. Hi Stephanie
I notice that people dancing is more intresting than power points but if you are in a rush and you don't have enough room go for power points.
The video relates to creativity because they have to think about what sort of dance it is going to be and the actions.
Well it should replace power point because it is more interesting

  5. Hi Stephanie,

I noticed that the dancers were following what the speaker was saying. The video relates to creativity by instead of having an old power point they have dancers dancing. No I don't think dance should replace power point, but I do think they should have a little bit of both, as in some presentations power point and sometimes dance.

  6. Hi Stephanie
I noticed lots of people in the background dancing. I think it relates to creativity because of the people behind the talker that were dancing and that they made that up them selfs. I don't think dance should replace power points because the dance would take longer to get ready than the power point.

We noticed and liked that the people made a chair out of their bodies then he sat on it.

We think this video relates to creativity because with the dancers parts of it looked like improv but it wasn't which was fun to watch

I think dance shouldn't replace powerpoint because not many people would understand but we think dance is cooler just wouldn't work as well

  9. Hello Ms. Thompson.

Replacing Power Point with Dancing will be weird but it might be interesting because its original.

I can't choose between them though.

  10. Hi Stephanie

I noticed that science is more fun when it's done in dance.
I know that it relates to creativity because they based that on there imagination and science which I think is beautiful yet confusing.
There are ways that people will think that dance is better than a power point but there the same to me 50%-50%.

  13. Hey Stephanie,

I notice that there is no powerpoint there's dancers instead witch I think is kind of wearied because I would raver just make a powerpoint because it's easier and you don't have to learn the dance moves. This video is creative because there dancing.
